About Me

Eric Thomas Urbach is a Multi-Instrumentalist, Producer, Recording Engineer, and Songwriter based in Oakland, California. 

He co-owns and operates Lodasia Sound Recording Studios in Richmond, California where he works with emerging Bay Area artists. 

He is best known for the work with his band Static Thought, who signed with Tim Armstrong's (Rancid) punk staple Hellcat/Epitaph Records in 2007, releasing 3 LPs to critical acclaim. Static Thought toured extensively throughout the US, Europe, Canada, and Mexico, playing with the likes of Against Me!, Alkaline Trio, Rancid, Leftover Crack, Trash Talk, Agnostic Front, Throw Rag, and many others.

Eric previously preformed with Everybody Row, along side ex. Comadre members Jack and Steven Shirley and ex Neo-Cons member Jasmine Watson. They released an EP on Vitriol Records.

He currently preforms with the San Francisco based band, States of Nature
